Flying Time And Bumps & Babes
I can't really believe that it's been 3 months since I updated this. Time has certainly flown by.
September saw a special promotion for recent Mums and Mums to be. We met some great little characters and must say congratulations to all those of you who bought your bumps in to be photographed and are now getting used to having an extra little person around the house.
In October we launched our ever popular Half Term Special which was so much of a success that we extended it to cover every weekend in November as well. We are now fully booked for Christmas portraits, but if you're looking for a special Christmas gift then we can offer gift vouchers for portrait sessions. We also have our gallery of stunning images of the local landscape.
As well as being busy with studio sessions during November we've been out during the week at various nursery schools and Parent & Toddler groups. Thanks to those who made me so welcome while photographing the children.
Tuesday November 25th sees the Christmas evening at Henstead Arts & Crafts centre. Why not pop along and visit the various artists at the centre. There'll be complimentary mince pies and mulled wine as well as bell ringers and carol singers. It was a grea evening last year and we're hoping for the same again.
On a final note we've created a new way for you to keep in touch with news and offers from ...andPhotography. We've created a group on Facebook so why not do a search for ...andPhotography and join the group - the more the merrier.

Pampered Pets
Another busy month has culminated in the launch of our special Pet Promotion. For all of August you can bring your pampered pooch or favourite feline along to the studio for a portrait session at the special price of £10. If that's not enough we're also offering a 30% discount off any framed product in our range when chosen at your viewing. Spaces are limited, so contact us as soon as possible if you would like a session.

Another Month, Another Award
We've recently had more success in the Fujifilm Envisage Awards with another merit in the June round. There were only two merits awarded in June out of around 50 entries, so we're particularly pleased. We're always on the look out for people willing to have their images entered in the competition, so if you like the idea of winning £1000 then please get in touch for a portrait session.
We've also launched a new range of greetings cards in a panoramic aspect. They've already proved really popular and the collection will continue to grow over the coming months. We are also now supplying the gift shop at Harbour Marine Services on Southwold Harbour with a range of cards.
Last week I was inspired to meet with other photographers at 4am at Southwold Pier. While the sunrise wasn't the best I've seen the company was great and a few came back to the studio for some lighting tuition. If you are interested in learning more about the range of effects possible using just a two head flash kit then please give us a call.
I met with fellow photographers in Duxford last week for a presentation by award winning photographer Pete Bristo, it was great to chat with others and I came away with plenty of ideas. To inspire me some more I'm off to Coventry soon for a two day photography seminar so hopefully I'll return with lots of new ideas to increase our product range and give you more variety in what we offer.

Flaming June
After a great week away at the end of May it was back to business with a bump. It's been a couple of weeks on the phone and writing emails as we're now forging links with local businesses.
Our ever-growing range of greetings cards are now available in other locations including the Post Office at Mutford, and Nick Middletons sports therapy suite at Egoes Gym in Lowestoft. We're looking to increase the places where these are available over the summer.
We're also pleased to announce the first shop to join us for future promotions. Stove Solutions in Wrentham will be having promotions linked with us, so it's the place to visit if you're in the market for a solid fuel stove!
Apart from that we've had plenty of portrait sessions including a passport photo for a 5 week old baby.

We've Won Some Awards!
Two of our images have been awarded merits in the April round of the Fujifilm Envisage awards and will now go forward to the final judging at the end of the year. I'm really pleased with this as there were only 4 merits awarded this month.
The awards are a national competition open to professional photographers, the subject of the winning image stands to win £1000. If you're willing to have your images entered into the competition then we're offering free portrait sessions on any weekend in May or June.
Hopefully there will be plenty more merits to come in the following months.

Still Here....
I'll hold my hands up and admit it's been ages since I last posted on the blog. We've been busy sorting out our product range. After a great day out at Focus On Imaging - the largest photography trade show in the UK - there are lots of new ideas for framing and presentation to make sure your images look great on your walls.
The studio is set for a bit of a revamp, so if you haven't been in for a while why not drop by and say hello. We're also talking to local businesses to come up with some great deals for everyones clients.
On top of all that we've been busy with portrait sessions, it's been great catching up with some old friends, and making plenty of new ones as well.
......and now I'll own up and say that some of my lack of blogging may be down to the Nintendo Wii which we got a few weeks ago. It's great fun for all the family and if I can only work out how to beat my 4 year old daughter at bowling I'll be a happy man!

Back To It.....
Happy New Year to all, I hope you all had a great time.
What a great end to the year it was. We were really busy in the run up to Christmas with getting everybody's orders out in time for the festive period.
We got away for a couple of weeks and managed to get up to all sorts including riding steam trains through the Forest Of Dean with Father Christmas and sledging and building snowmen in the Lake District. I even found a bit of time to take some photos which will be appearing in the gallery soon.
But now it's back to work and getting ready for the coming year. We've got plenty planned and we'll keep you up to date via the website and mail shots. We've already launched our first promotion which runs until the end of February. Any studio session booked will be just £20.00 - that's half price, and you will still receive one of our great framed prints included in the price.
